|
Andreas Balthasar studied economics and the history of economics at the University of Bern. He completed his habilitation (post-doctoral qualification for research and teaching at the university level) at the Faculty of Economics & Social Science at the University of Bern in the spring of 2007. He has been an adjunct professor in the Department of Political Science since 2010 and in the Department of Health Science and Health Policy at the University of Lucerne since 2013. From 2000 to 2008, he was president of the Swiss Evaluation Society (SEVAL).
Andreas Balthasar founded Interface Politikstudien Forschung Beratung in Lucerne in 1991 and served as its managing director until 2014. He works with various federal offices as an evaluation and strategy consultant. He also focuses on research in social and health policy and the management of complex evaluations. He has been chairman of the steering committee of the national research program Managing Energy Consumption (NRP 71) since 2013. |
