|
Martina Schlapbach studied history and comparative religions (University of Fribourg) and specialised in migration in her interdisciplinary studies (University of Oxford). As a project coordinator for international and national development agencies (UN Women, Tajikistan and the Direction of Development and Collaboration DEZA, Berne), she developed a practice-related understanding of issues involving process design, organisational development and equal opportunities in intercultural and transnational contexts. Furthermore, Martina Schlapbach is familiar with the Swiss education system, starting with her professional commitment in government and non-profit institutions She has done research and lectured on societal inclusion and exclusion (University of Fribourg), taught Russian (University of Berne) and coached secondary school graduates on academic performance and choosing a career. In her many years of work as a freelance journalist, she reported for different local newspapers.
