Master of Art in Political Sciences at the University of Geneva and certified in geopolitics at the Geneva Institute of Geopolitical Studies (GIGS), I worked in the public sector both in Switzerland and abroad, particularly in the areas of international relations, internal audit and accouting, governance and project management.
Currently internal auditor, I am executing operational, compliance, financial and accouting audits for the State of Geneva, its subsidiaries and subsidies (aprox. 25'000 collaborators). All these entities are obliged by law to implement an internal control system, not only for the financial system but as well for operational activities. I am providing evaluation and assurance on risk management activities, controls and governance in reference to the objectives and components of COSO framework for internal control. I am also proficient in analyzing administrative activities and public politicy in terms of efficency (evaluation of performance indicators and associated targets)
Regarding financial auditing I am assessing whether financial information is properly recorded and adequatly supported and whether the financial statements about past performance is fair, accurate, and reliable in reference to IPSAS/Swiss Gaap/ IFRS standards depending on the type of organisation (statutory auditor for the State of Geneva).
I'am also proficient in IT Audits (COBIT Framework): Rights acess management, IT processes, information systems security. |
