As one of its priority tasks, courses in evaluation professional development are organised directly by the SEVAL.  The first in the series was held in autumn 2003 and was jointly organized with the University of Fribourg, Continuing Education Department. 

For this important area, there is no formal working group as such. Rather, the topics and themes for SEVAL professional development courses are discussed and agreed within the Executive Committee. The contact person is Marlène Läubli Loud (see below for contact details).

Academic courses in evaluation theory and practice at basic and advanced level are organised directly by the universities. In addition there are ad hoc seminars and courses on the topic that are also  organised independently.
